Approach notes
Drive from Schermshohe to Spies and as the main road through the village curves off to the right, turn left and after 50 metres take the road going uphill to the right. At the brow of the hill keep right and park at the end of the children's playground. Follow the track past the bottom end of the football/basketball pitch as it continues into the woods and narrows to a footpath. Contour to the right around the hill on the footpath past a cave then follow along the bottom of the crag, up a short scramble and a tricky step. This brings you to the bottom of route number 8.
