Crag features
A solitary block of fine quarried grit, with one decent problem, a warm up and a possible dyno and eliminate still to be done.A nice spot, even though it is practically on the A6.
Worth taking two mats to lean one up on the cord by the sloop.
Approach notes
ParkingPark near the old petrol station on the A6 in Holmsford (now a roadworks storage area). Park on the pavement, making sure not to park in front of the building. Parking nearer to the bus stop makes sense. Probably best keep it to a minimum of 2 cars.
Approach
From the parking, take a very short walk, in the direction of Cromford, past the petrol station, up to the Derbyshire Dales sign. Carefully cross the A6 here and walk into the woods opposite, you will see the block immediately.
