originally spied out by the late Peter Trewin, then projected by afew Pex lads just after covid. A scenic venue below St Mary’s Church with great views of all three Mersey Bridges. The sandstone is pocketed, solid, and quick drying not without its flaky bits.. – Like a stunted Chester Racecourse Walls.
Composed of two tough sections of 250 foot sandstone block walls approx 4 - 5 m 15- 20ft tall... makes for a very long traverse with lots of avaliability for routes and eliminates.
Park on the road of St Marys church then walk round victoria gardens until you reach stairs or a ramp wich will lead you down to the waterfront.
Or park in the Catalyst Museum car park. signposted w/café and take a pleasant 5 min walk along the river towards the old railway bridge.
Victoria gardens / church co-ords 53.3488°N 2.7329°W
