Crag features

The brooding north walls of the Chief and Slhanay have very a different character to the sunny western flanks along the Highway. The cliffs are big, the days are cool, but in the heat of the long Squamish summer, they are glorious places to climb. Nor are they for the faint hearted as the climbs are generally harder and require longer days than elsewhere.

The region covers six areas: Slhanay East, Slhanay West, Zodiac Wall, Sheriff's Badge, South Gully, and the Gods of the Rim. Here are the greatest number of routes over 12 pitches, with an average difficulty that is higher than any other region.

All routes are described from left-to-right as in line with UKC, and thus the order of routes and crags may not always be identical to the guidebooks.
