Crag features
One of the higher crags in Frankenjura, at 40m.Beyond / rightwards of route 8 (Direktor G.G.W) it is a zone 1, i.e. banned.
The routes are in a "zone 3". There may be a ban during springtime due to nesting kestrels.
Some trad gear will be needed for the 3 routes at the right end, routes 6, 7 and 8. Route 8 DGGW, is all trad, maybe a couple of pegs.
UIAA 6+ to 9. Vertical with some steeper finishes. A few mid to higher grade climbs. Might be dry when raining.
Approach notes
Find somewhere to park in the village e.g. nr Mariental, no 10, there is parking.Walk 60m towards the village centre. Then turn left into Rohrgäßchen. After about 150m you wil see the wall. It's above a private car park.
The car park beneath the crag is for residents only.
Walk into this car park and straight ahead to the back where you head up to a structural gap between the rock catch fence.
No Access Issues
Do not park in the private car park beneath the crag.During spring there may be a ban with kestrel nesting restrictions.
