Crag features
The crag is on the opposite side of the Nam Ou river to the village of Pak Ou. The climbing is on the left side of the large cliff face in the white/orange rock - the boat is likely to drop you off on the right side of the cliff.The rock medium quality but it's great if you're in the Luang Prabang area and want to do some climbing.
Approach notes
Get to Pak Ou village and park in the designated parking (pay a small fee of ~ 5,000 KIP per scooter). Walk through the village towards the beach where the boats are waiting for you. The locals know where you mean if you show them a photo of the crag and say it's for climbing, arrange a pick up time (~13,000 KIP / person both ways).The boat should drop you off on the right hand side of the cliff, scramble up some boulders and follow a faint trail upwards, it's steep but short.
