Crag features

A sizable boulder lies in Crook Burn below the Waterfall.

During hot, dry periods the boulder becomes accessable and is a haven from the heat and insects.

There is more rock above the South Bank that has route and bouldering potential.

Approach notes

Park in the carpark across the road from St Mungos church in Simonburn and take the obvious path West down to the river. Walk upstream for about 1.5km until you see the boulder.
