Quarried crag on Rochlitzer Porphyr, which can be roughly divided into two areas: the first (Seidelbruch) is a popular upper area featuring mostly shorter routes with a very comfortable crag base. The lower part (Gleisbergbruch) starts from the deeper section of the quarry, which can be reached via abseil or descending a fixed rope.
The vast majority of routes are chipped on vertical walls. Despite this, there are some interesting crack climbs and one or two good natural routes. Of particular note is the crack "Leuchtender Pfad" in the lower section, a spectacular 30m hand crack (with 6 bolts total - bring gear) which more than merits a visit.
Gear is good - the crag seems to have been recently revamped.
Either cycle from the station of Narsdorf or park directly at Rocklitzer Berg. A path branching off left leads in one or two minutes to an abandoned house and the crag. The lower section can be found on the far side of the main area.
