Plenty of routes to be found throughout both islands.
Main section on North Island is the West seaward side towards its Northern end.
Main section on the South Island is the Western end of the channel.
Plenty of guanno pretty much everywhere.
Definitely avoid the bird nesting season.
Approach notes
Obviously you need some sort of vessel to get there.
Would not recommend a dry bag swim, too far and too many currents around.
Park for Hollywell Bay, avoid peak times because it gets very busy.
