Rocktype Sandstone (hard)

a long wall approx 18 foot max height. set back only a foot from the kerb. It runs parallel to the a56 with good traversing and much potential for boulder problems. Quality sandstone but does have its crumbly areas. Mats are not reccomended due to the crag being right on the road but a good shag carpet will do. Climb with caution and rock on
J11 on M56 head towards daresbury (a56 north) and take the right turn opposite the new build estate/ Delph Lane. the wall is clearly visible from the road. From Warrington/ runcorn head towards signs for M56 and look out for the sandstone bus stop.
the rock is only 8-12 inches set back from the kerb. I would not advise topping out. The wall is effectivley a land cutting and the land on top is a private residential garden belonging to the house at the end of the incline. there is a short wire fence 3-4 foot back from the wall edge. Please be respectful of this and climb with conideration toward passing vehicles.
