NEW ROUTE: Prophitus Andreas to Galatiani Chapel Scramble/Climb
Follow the ridge from the carpark heading SE along the ridge. Stick to the crest as much as possible.
Majority is grade 1-3 scrambling with 2 Diff short sections. Much exposure, considerable drops on knife edge ridge in places, and a large amount of loose rock in places.
When crossing the climbers path at approx 37.040, 26.959 gain the ridge via small gully (Diff) just after wall on the W face of the start of Prophitis Andreas crag.
Follow the ridge.
When the lowest point (col) is reached there are two large pinnacles ahead the first short Diff section is protected by a thread on the ridge above the difficulties.
Approach notes
Park at Prophitis Andreas chapel car park. Head SE to gain ridge immediately.
Descent is either by continuing over and down the Arginonta Skyline path to Arginonta valley (requires a lift back to collect vehicle, or pre-placing transport) or by return to the starting point using the Kalymnos Trail path (untested).
