Crag features

An easy angled slab in a beautiful location, which may be climbed anywhere at around moderate standard (certainly nowhere harder than difficult). The most obvious lines only are described. Best combined with a swim and exploration of the deep zawn/channel on the tip of the headland, and perhaps a swim out to the facing rocky islet. There is bouldering nearby and also scope for trad climbing on the cliffs above the coast path. Calm sea required.

Approach notes

Follow the coast path along the east side of the beach (path side bouldering here) which rises above some swimming platforms. After a wooden balcony, look for a track into the undergrowth on the right, just before the path trends leftwards and goes over the rise to the next bay. Contour until it is possible to descend to sea level facing the rocky islet. The main slab is at sea level, other subsidiary slabs are behind this but composed of poor rock.
