Small conglomerate crag amongst the trees. There are also traversing walls with some bouldering to the left. Further to the right is a low roof which appears to have a boulder problem leading to lip. In the past there were resined on holds which have since disappeared
As with all new conglomerate crags there may be some friable holds. Wearing helmets are advised.
Most of the routes have stiff moves for their grades, given they are so short.
After leaving the Maryburgh roundabout park in the 2nd official lay by on the left (if you get to the Wave Buttress parking turn round and park in the first lay by on the right). From the layby cross and climb bank on opposite side up vague path to fallen tree over fence. Cross old track past water hole on left side heading up to long low crag amongst trees then left to short white crag with bolts.
Cleaned the 4 and the 5's from top down on a static line today with big brush, loads of pine needles and dirt from the woods above, nice climbs Nfdds - 19/Mar/25 |
