Busy crag © RhysOnTheRocks
This small tidal crag is tucked away in a cove down from Southgate, just 10 meters from Watch House East (Sport Climbing). It features a small overhanging wall and some highballs.
Bouldering is available four hours either side of low tide (or if the tide is 6.5 metres or below). Seepage is common, especially further into the cave on the left side, while the right side requires only a small amount of drying.
The landing zone is nice and flat, but be cautious of blocks behind you on certain climbs.
Park in the National Trust Car Park at Southgate. Approach is the same as for Watch House (Sport) until you get down to the beach. Follow the road towards Three Cliffs until you are parallel to the obvious path leading down to the cove. Take this path, noting that it is often overgrown. Once you reach the rocks, head east until you find the tucked-away crag.
