Rocktype Sandstone (hard)
Altitude 5m a.s.l
Faces S
A steep Sandstone wall - a large roof caps it's left end, ending in an arete that drops to a bouldery inlet. A prominent L-R diagonal crack is an obvious feature in the middle of the wall. A large roof also caps the RH side.
Continue North along the coast from Hammerhead rock to the northern side of the obvious rocky bay. Several promising looking crags/outcrops appear here, but The Red Wall is the first to deliver some good climbing. Continue past the other slabs/walls to the obvious Red crag facing south, sitting above an almost flat semi tidal platform. At lower tides it will be possible to scramble across a channel between the platform and the boulder beach; at higher tides yoy may need to outflank the channel and traverse around onto the platform.
