Small but worthwile crag less than half an hour's drive from central Sofia with fantastic views of the city. Recently bolted. SSE exposure. Good quality granite rock with a good selection of routes at easier grades particularly.

Approach notes
Drive up a narrow and poorly maintained ashphalt road to a small car park outside an abandoned sanitorium. Take a small path out of the car park and around the back of the sanitorium, leading to the top of Alekova Rock. Descend easily on foot to the base of the crag.
