Crag is located on Knivsfjell between Klokkarstua and Holmsbu in Hurum. A spectacular gully, consisting of two, almost parallel walls with south and north exposure. The steep, overhanging south wall has some broken rock at the bottom, and transitions into short slabs higher up. The lower north wall has a gentle, beginner-friendly slab with well-protected, easy trad routes. A great camping spot is on the ledge above the north wall, with a magnificent view of the Drammensfjord.
The crag was found and work started in autumn 2017 by Jakob Vinge Møllersen and Lars Wegge. Several new routes have been developed in recent years, with potential for few more.
From the center of Drammen, follow signs for E18 and Oslo, then E134 south towards Drøbak. Drive 3km past Gullaug to Lahell. At the roundabout at Lahell, turn right towards Klokkarstua/Hyggen on fv. 281, Grimsrudveien. Follow fv. 281 south to Klokkarstua and on to the Holmsbu exit. Drive towards Holmsbu, turn right onto Knivsvikveien at the bottom of the hill and park on the left side of the road. NB do not park in any passing places (marked with "M").
Ca. 1 km from the junction where Knivsvikveien turns down towards the fjord, the path up towards Knivsfjell begins, right after a small farm with large open lawns. Path starts here, marked with blue paint on rocks. Hold the height of the ridge (Stallåsen) up past a knoll with a rope laid out. Gully is right below, on the left. It takes ca. 15-20 minutes to walk from Knivsvikveien. The Drammen district's most beautiful approach! The cliff is 200 m above sea level. with magnificent views over the Drammen and Oslo Fjords. It is also possible to follow the road and then the path from the sports field at Klokkarstua in the north.
