Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 482m a.s.l
Faces SE
A large, oblong turret of rock high on the hillside with shade most of the day on one side and sun on the other. There is still a lot of loose and sharp rock on the routes so helmets and care are required.
Drive up the valley from Leonidio, take the right turn towards Paleochoria. The trail, 600m after the obvious cave sector of La Maison des Chevres, is marked from the road with red dots (there are red dots on the rock wall on the left-hand side of the road too). Follow the trail over the river then up the hill on bare limestone slabs with trees and bushes. This is a fairly strenuous and sustained ascent with some risk - exposed and worthy of a scrambling grade at times.
