Approach notes

From Kinlochewe, take the A896 towards Torridon village. Drive through the village towards Diabaig. Past the sign for Wester Alligin the road starts to rise steeply uphill. On a very tight right hand steep hair pin bend there is parking about 50 meters further up the hill on the right, space for about 6 cars at a viewpoint with benches and a stone information board. OS Landranger map 24.
Parking grid ref NG 827 587.
The approach description is tricky to write up as the landscape is generally rolling moorland, you could really do with following a compass bearing. However, if you have parked up facing back down the Glen (forwards) behind you there is a path up a short hill to a small boulder, from here there is the faintest of paths marked by the odd cairn and marker post. Wellies or some waterproof footwear recommended.
