Crag features
A magical collection of immaculate granite boulders facing all aspects, with some fascinating local folklore attached that most climbers will find very relatable. Mostly bouldering and highballs, with some routes up to about 30m long. Some shaded by trees, some sunny. Monkeys may steal your lunch and burn you off, so watch out!
Restricted Access
Usually open from 8am to 5pm, but times are negotiable. Entrance fee (currently 500 shillings for Muzungu tourists), or free entry (but leave a tip) for climbers with a guide from Yago Bouldering. Kit-Mikayi is a sacred site used for prayer and meditation. Please be mindful to avoid disturbance.
