A few scattered micro problems on Twrch Sandstone boulders just below the path on the way to Carreg Y Truman. The routes are low in difficulty and in stature. High up and mostly facing north: it’s a handy place in a heatwave. A pdf topo can be downloaded from www.martincrockerclimbing.com.
🚗 Park in a large car-park on the E side of the A4069 Brynamman to Llangadog road, at OS 7324 1875. Google Map Link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/E29zn9rTdm54jTaGA
Follow the track NE and then E under Herbert’s Quarry. Carry on E to where the path crosses the Afon Clydach above its waterfalls, about 15 mins walk from the road. The first set of problems are in the mini-gorge below the first waterfall down from the footpath. Access to these is easier after a dry spell when water levels are low. The second set are just below the path, about 150m before the Afon Clydach waterfall when approaching from the A4069.
