Crag features
Isolated crag at the top of the steep east faceing flank of the Vassola valley. The rock is a gneiss whose quality is not as good as the one of "Monte Analogo" or "Stargate". Nevertheless the adventure of a trad climb in an isolated mountain spot can worth the visit.
Approach notes
From Chialamberto, take the road toward the village of Vonzo. Park there at the beginning of the village. Take the track toward "Alpe Vassola" (325) up to the village of Chiapili (intersecting the dirty road). From Chiapili continue on the track 325 passing the village and reach the upper road that enter the valley on a level. Cross the stream on the beautiful bridge in front of Alpe Vassola. Then ascend the flank of the valley behind the pasture heading to the wall. Zig-zag around a few rock barriers to reach the base of the crag high above.
