'The A9 Boulders' or 'The Hide'
Accessible cliff band with a range of good problems hidden in the pines above the road.
Parking - the lay-by on the North bound side of the A9 is back open (August 2025)
Approach notes
Park in lay-by 171 just before the end of the dual carriageway section going southbound. (Lay-by currently closed, there is one on the opposite side of the road you can park in. Turning places further along in either direction.)
Head up the verge towards the trees and cross a small fence. Follow the fence south for 5 minutes, the cliff band should start to come into veiw when looking up through the trees.
