Rocca S.A.R.I. is a big boulder near the stream, just passed the village of Balme. Well known by the local people since the birth of the alpinistic activity here, it underwent a restyling in the recent years. The grades are "tight" and despite the routes are short and usually discontinous a few sections are really interesting and woth the visit. The spot is perfect in the summer, since the boulder has a shaded face at least in every moment during the day. Also the presence of a few easy route and the practically null approach make this small crag a perfect spot for beginner, also to learn cam placement and trad climbing.
Park in Balme, then follow the road passing the last houses of the village, traverse the stream on the obvious wooden bridge.
