The map location on the UKC site itself is a little off. The map location is correct if the viewing on google maps option is selected. As urban a location as they come! Compact but with some nice problems on it. Maybe not a world class destination but real rock climbing opportunities are rarer than hens teeth in Shanghai so beggars can't be choosers!
Top rope useful on some routes to avoid awkard ground falls.
Access Advice
Obviously not an official climbing site. It's a special rock with chinese characters carved into it so treat it with respect. Do not use chalk. There are cameras everywhere so you will be filmed. Therefore try to demonstrate that you are a good citizen by collecting and throwing away any rubbish you encounter, leaving the place in a better state than you found it. Locals have only been curious and supportive in my experience. I've never been asked to leave, but if you are, don't ask questions and don't argue!
