Crag features
A large water-smoothed boulder of gneiss on the banks of the river. Of minor interest only - although the access through a bar is interesting.
The 2015 Valsesia guide only cites 9 'senza nome' routes and has no topo. There has obviously been further development here recently - about 15 routes visible so the relationship between the guide and the reality is guesswork. The grade 3 routes are certainly on the slabby face facing away from the river if that helps!
Approach notes
From the tortuous road through Boccioletto take a narrow road down to the left to the parking area. THEN take an even narrower road down to the area sportiva. Park here.
Unlikely as it may sound go between the bar and the 'bowling alley' to find a steel stairway. Go down this and follow the STEEP path down towards the river. The boulder becomes obvious.
