Ħalfa Rock is a small deserted limestone islet close to the shore on the south-east coast of the island of Gozo.
Though many must have climbed it's back via easier access from the water on its south side, the north face offers ample opportunity for development of deep water solo and trad lines.
Please bear in mind the islet is home to several endemic plant species that grow on it's 'summit'. Watch where you place your feet!
Only accessible from the water. So you'll either need to do a short swim from the shore, or be dropped off by boat! It's a popular cove with swimmers and boaters, so watch out for other water users, and folks cliff jumping from up top!
Several endemic plant species on the 'summit' are protected. It's a popular islet for cliff jumpers, but do try to leave no trace! Stick to DWS to avoid the need to place gear!
