Rocktype Limestone
Altitude 234m a.s.l
Dawn Raider, 7c © robin mueller
Recently discovered limestone roof. Developed by Graham and Dan Warren.
Now has some of the best limestone problems in the peak with the neo-classic Dawn Raider and Creep, one of the longest roof problems about. Only really worth going if youre operating at 7a or above and must if climbing at 7c regularly.
Modification to approach description from peak bouldering guide: when you reach the rocky knoll, mentioned in the guide, do not drop down 50 metres as implied, but rather walk right up to the knoll and contour leftwards closely around its base. Eventually this will take you in to a band of trees via a narrow ledge and you will see the crag.
