Rising traverses of Phaff, Stepped Ridge etc are doable in high seas.
Dates: 1 February to 28 July
Reason: Nesting Birds
The nesting restriction applies to the whole crag due to the prescence of large colonies of auks (Razorbills and Guillemots) as well as a small population of Puffins.
the birds have leaft early in 2019 - and restrictions lifted on July 29th!
