Crag features

Vathy village, on the east side of Kalymnos, is built at the end of a beautiful narrow fjord flanked by rock walls of excellent quality. This is a great place to combine climbing, swimming and eating at one of the tavernas. The best way to access the routes and the deep water solo cave is asking a local fisherman to taxi you there for a few euros.

Approach notes

It is necessary to hire a boat for most routes, although not Socratic Swimming Lessons.

The latetst Rockfax print guidebook gives full coverage of the whole island. It is availabkle direct from the Rockfax web site. Also through the Rockfax app.
