This crag is still being developed, the earliest routes were put up in 2002.
Best known as a sports climbing venue, there are some trad routes on natural crack systems, there are also several quality bouldering areas.
The climbing is well bolted on hard juggy sandstone, there is a good range of styles of climbing, from cracks & slabs to very steep overhanging walls most of the climbs are approx 60ft to 80ft.
The venue as it suggests is in the shape of a horseshoe with the open end roughly facing south, therefore you can get sun or shade in different areas through the day.
This is a very popular climbing area & gets crowded on a weekend.
This venue is run commercially & there is a daily charge for climbing ($5.00 in Sep 2012), there is also a basic camp site ($5 per person per night), Cabin accomodation & small Climbing shop on site.
