Crag features

The Trewellard cliffs consist of killas slate and pillow-lavas with numerous other intrusions. There are interesting climbs in all but the higher grades, in a quiet and picturesque venue. The cliffs fringe an area of industrial chaos that is also a treasure-house of mining archeology.

Approach notes

From Trewellard village, follow the brown signs to Levant Mine, down the narrow roads that leads to the coast from opposite the Trewellard Arms car park. Park in the large unsurfaced car park, just before a barrier across the track which is locked outside the attraction's opening hours.

Follow the track downhill and around to the right for 300m, past two mine stacks on the right, before bearing left to a mine-stack at the edge of the cliffs.
