Crag features

THE granite trad area in Utah.
80% of the crags face south, so hot in summer. Utah, wholesome Utah. This is a fantastic bridge area if on a climbing tour. Whether you are south-north between the desert monsters of Southern Utah and Idaho's City of Rocks or west-east between Yosemite and Colorado's great granite troves, the Wasatch Canyon is definitely worth a stop. Good campsites. It is very close to Salt Lake City, however, despite this you feel a world away from the city - the scene is wild and picturesque.

Approach notes

A reseaonably priced campsite in the valley.
