Many of the harder routes are poorly protected.
Single pitch routes.
No right of way, but there hasn't been an access problem. B6349 from Belford, turn right along road to Hazelrigg. Crag is on the eastern side of the road after 1km, down a dip to the left.
Visited 29/06/2024, no access issues but don't park over the gate.
The foliage is quite overgrown in the walk in after the field (I'm 6ft and it was up to my chest/shoulders at points). Be wary for ticks.
Freestanding boulders will require a bit of squashing / cutting of the undergrowth to access, the boulders closest to the crag are fine though.
The crag itself is totally clear though if it's not windy or sunny there will be many midges. dillanm - 03/Jul/24 |
