Access Advice

The site owners (The Woodland Trust) are very concerned regarding thier potential liability and car parking at this site. They wish to state that they do not give give any express permisson for climbing at this site, and all climbing is at the individual's own risk. No equipment such as hanging ropes or quick draws are to be left insitu. In the event of forestry works being carried out, all public acces to the woods would be temporarily restricted for safety reasons.

Parking Issues summer 2017 - please park sensibly and do not park in front of the houses on the approach track. The local residents have had problems with climbers cars blocking their parking spaces.

South Wales Sport Climbs covers the area to the south of the Brecon Beacons, spanning the land and sea cliffs from the River Wye on the Welsh border to Pembrokeshire in the west. The area is home to a wealth of sport climbing on a multitude of venues ranging from small inland quarries to extensive limestone sea cliffs.

went there yesterday pm, base of crag very overgrown and lots of loose rock on most routes- needs more traffic to make a nice little crag for the 6a-6b climber

is this the obvious quarry you can see off to the right from the A465 if you're heading toward Swansea way? Just before you get to the M4 j43 I think. What ever that crag is looks impressive!

Beware midges Period!! Great venue,well worth a visit, well worth a few actually.Most of the stuff is above my sad,pathetic grade,but a great place to learn.

brill little venue, nicely settled in the woods with a good view of the bay from the tops of the walls. Beautiful in the sun, well worth an afternoon climb, beware midges near sundown!

really good for the 6a/6b climber with some nice 5's to warm up on.it has seepage when its been raining but still and excellent venue.
