There is a bird ban at sectors Chantes de Mezquita and Piedra Lisa from Dcember to July.
In winter Sector Vibora loses the sun after 3.00pm

Approach notes
Take the road uphill out of Ricote village. At the top of the hill is a large forestry house situated above the road. The forestry track on left leads to Sector Chentes de Mesquita. Continuing along the single track main road you come to Sector La Carretera which as the name implies is right next to the road. Abou 2k from Ricote on the same road is a wide forestry track on the left with a large sign "TV ANTENNA" . Take this track and after a bend (sector Cueva de negrete) you come to a fork. Park at this junction and an easy path zig zags up to sector Vibora in 5mts. Around the next bend from the parking is sector Curva de Javi. The right hand forestry track continues to Sector Piedra Lisa and eventually the Tv aerials at the summit,
