A pleasant slab of clean Gneiss with an amazing outlook over Loch Torridon and Beinn Bhan. A good low grade supplement to Diabaig. Routes first recorded in 1998 but it has been poked at long before then, as it is suprisingly one of the few crags around to offer good clean climbs. Despite acres of exposed rock most is too easy angled, vegetated or dissapointingly short to offer good climbing.
Easiest approach is from Wester Alligan along the Diabaig path. The slab is clearly seen from the path just before the croft of Port Laire is reached. Bushwack upto the crag from the path.
This crag is a minor classic, highly recommended. glaramara - 14/Apr/14 |
