Crag features
Bergsee is a major climbing venue with many sectors (including the nearby Schijenstock and Hochschijen) and routes. Long routes on the Bergseeschijn itself include Südgrat, with several other harder routes which join Südgrat for last few pitches (queues!). Excellent climb finishing on the summit. Fairly straightforward descent. Some nice shorter routes close to the hut.
Approach notes
Beautiful 1.5 - 2 hour walk to the Bergseehütte then half hour to the foot of Südgrat.
