βeta: 2024 June, snow is still present with a snow pack at the base and the top. Started 6am from the Lavey hut with an easy ascent. This was my first ridge climb, which I simul-climbed with Eric. Very exciting, beautiful and easy climbing, though quite exposed in some places, and down climbing is certain and experience. At the top, it took some time to find the descent point, and which required quite a steep down climb. The snow in the gully was at an awkward height and not all abb points were visible/reachable. W used ice axe anchors in some places. A stuck rope added some extra time to the trip. The final descent was loverly with some opps to practice self arrest. Fantastic day. Then ran from the hut back to the car park, the last incline being pure torture. | βeta? | |

βeta: North Gully descend route has hardly any snow on it (as of 21/07/22) as is very! loose. Awesome route but find a different way of - rumour has it there's a descend scramble on the south side. | βeta? | |
