Basile le Crocodile on Aiguille de la Gliere lower buttress: TD- II M5, 170m 3 pitches plus top out via Mixte Academie. 10-15m left of Mixte Academie, the steep overhanging chimney on the crest of the lower tier of the buttress. Start below the lowest rock, go up via snow slopes to groove, and then climb the very steep chimney to belay above. Continue straight up mixed ground in two 50m tiers, until you meet Mixte Academie, which you follow up to summit ridge. See Passion Alpes (Robin Bonnet) or Camp to camp for description and topo.
