Rockfax Description
120m. A fun route with an enjoyable third pitch. Most teams don't bother with the slightly scrappy fourth pitch and abseil off from the third belay. Ignore the older line of bolts to the left of the route and stick with the newer, shinier ones.
1) 4c, 2) 5b, 3) 5b, 4) 5a. © Rockfax

βeta: Slightly wet from rain day before. Started on the correct route, one left of Robin Wood. Couldn\'t find the shiny bolts described on the last pitch. Climbed something on pitons and old bolts that felt harder than the 5a described. Topped out at the bely for L\'arete Rouge and did two 30m abseils to reach gully. The thread on second abseil was not in a good state, so threaded the rope at the risk of getting my rope suck. Only just managed to pull it down. Still a lovely climb! | βeta? | |
