Altitude 1m a.s.l
The crag is situated on the coast just south of the 'Allt' (stream) which flows through a valley north of the Cathair Dhubh Estate.
Park at a large pull in at the entrance to the Cathair Dhubh Estate; just beyond Loch an Ordain on the B869. Follow the estate track round trending north to Cathair Dhubh House and take the footpath in front of the house towards Altanabradhan.
Once heading down into the Alltanabradhan valley look for a small path leading off left to the south bank of the allt. Follow this towards the mouth of the burn. Alternatively follow the main path to the ruined mill on the allt (not a croft as detailed in the guide) and then down to the mouth of the burn and cross back to the south side. Walk up to the low headland where the buttress / climb can be seen below a higher top.
The track into the Cathair Dhubh Estate (holiday cottages) is for the use of estate visitors cars only. (No problem for walkers.)
