Rocktype Sandstone (soft)
Altitude 106m a.s.l
Faces NW
Scruffy crag, beyond obscure. Just snuck into the 2012 BMC guide but has seen little activity since. Half a dozen recorded routes.
Lay-by just near the bend on Commonside, where the Sandstone Trail footpath crosses this minor road. There are two distinct sections, for the quarry walk a short distance back up the road and you'll see a scruffy quarry on the right. For the edge itself, walk South up the Sandstone Trail via the roadside kissing gate. After the steep first climb the trail levels out keeping the woods on your left. After the second gate the rock outcrops on the left. Access is unclear but you will be crossing a wire fence (care!).
Unclear.
