Twisty 27 May Show βeta
βeta: A massively absorbing line. A very bold scramble on heather and moss is a sign of things to come. Relatively easy climbing throughout with one hard move in the middle. Bold climbing at first. Very Lichenous, steepening leads to big holds and improving gear. Complex route finding, not even sure we were on the right route. Rain on the upper section encouraged a sense of urgency and to a very exposed top out on heather. Take lots of slings and a large rack. We went left of the big white tooth triangle above the grassy slab, trending leftwards and ultimately climbed the right hand end of the main wall.
