Spider Crag offers a variety of scrambling from S1 to S3 and adds some variety to an ascent of Aonach Beag via Sgurr a' Bhuic. The scrambling becomes easier the further right along the crag you go. Starts up the thinner bed of quartzite just right of the two thick beds at the left side of the crag. Climb this for about 10m then step left across the heather filled gully and climb the center of the right-hand of the thicker two beds. Difficulty eases with height and is never too serious.
