12m. One metre L of Viper Direct is a downward pointing finger of rock halfway up the crag bounded by two prominent cracks. Start up the bouldery scooped wall 1.5m left of Viper Direct and trend slightly right to gain the base of the down pointing flake (the finger). Use this to reach better holds and easier slabby well featured finishing cracks. Well protected from half height but unprotected below this. Placing a belay nut in Viper Direct is a good idea to avoid being pulled over the broken crag below the route. The finger of the Attermire deity points the way.
