At UKC we are all climbers and we understand the strong urge to be outdoors as the weather is finally improving. Please proceed with caution though.
Altitude 319m a.s.l
A collection of rocks scattred through Auswell woods. There is only known climbing on the formation known as Hazel Tor.
'Park discreetly to one side of a gateway at SX738 721. From here bear slightly left and walk 100 metres up a track. Turn left onto another track which curves initially then runs straight up to the hill. The rocks rise out of the conifers at the head of the track.' (South Devon, 2018)
'The woodland is privately owned and there is no formal right of access. Be polite if challanged and leave if asked to do so. Avoid weekday daytimes where forestry work might be in progress and don't risk future access by blocking gates, creating a fire risk etc.' (South Devon, 2018)
