UKC

2 pitches. A full traverse of the Flake Crack buttress from right to left; very much one for the VS and below completist, with a final tree-lined pitch reminiscent of many a S/HS lakeland multipitch.

P1: (4b) Start to the right of the obvious cave ("Cavern") to the ledge for a shoddy nut, then traverse leftwards into the corner and onwards with a very pleasing move around the arete onto the Flack Crack buttress. Traverse further at the same height through Flake Crack (good pro here) and climb the slab via the obvious foot pocket just to the right of the tree. Belay here.

P2: (4a) Traverse left, trending upwards to the obvious crack in the wall on the right. Climb this trying to avoid the trees and roots (there are some good holds on the rock!) with a delicate sandy finish in store. Belay at the tree or well back at the fence.
