A smaller quarry than The Works but with an interesting couple of cave features, particularly the hanging fang feature in the centre.
Approach notes
Parking as for The Works. To approach the quarry take the path as for The Works but leave for a small track to the right of the active quarry (stay clear of crumbling edge of this active quarry) and arrive at a flat mossy area. Pass this to a higher terrace and then pass an old tunnel entrance, traverse scree to 2 old quarry buildings, head up the steps and Bakestone is on the left.
