Crag features
A selection of excellent granite buttresses ranging from slabby to steep with over 70 routes to choose from. Mostly crimpy climbing but with a good selection of cracks too, including a few traditional lines.
Faces east so makes a good option for hot summer afternoons.
Approach notes
Located right on the edge of town near the beach. Park at the start of Sendero al Bandurrias, behind the water treatment plant.
For most sectors, take the steep trail on the right at the start of the Sendero. Follow this trail to find the sector you are aiming for, keeping an eye out for smaller trails to the individual buttresses.
Sector Rincón is found by following a little trail at the apex of the turn into the parking, following a fence behind a hotel until the crag comes into view.
